Repair or replace?
Clearing a blocked filter or hose is often enough. Worn belts, pumps, valves and bearings can be replaced. For an older machine with major drum or board damage, we explain the cost of repair compared with replacement.
Unplug the machine and turn off the water before checking anything. If there is water near the plug or the breaker trips, stop using the machine.
Care tips
- Avoid overloading the drum.
- Leave the door ajar after washing to let it dry.
- Clean the detergent drawer and drain filter from time to time.
- Use the amount of detergent the manufacturer recommends.
